Director Helen Johnson and several volunteers are planning to create a Nature Explore program. Our goal is to increase the interactions our children have with the environment.

2nd Annual County Wide Cleanup

First; A New Location; South Park. City will have roll off boxes to gather all the bags that we will gather on Saturday, October 2. Let’s all get together and help beautify our community to make us all proud of where we live. We are looking for: Businesses, School Groups, Church Groups, Boys and Girl Scout Groups, Lions Clubs, Kiwanis Clubs, Optimist Clubs and of course Individuals to help make this first time try out to be an overwhelming sucess. Bright n’ Beautiful will of course furnish bags, gloves and vests if you want them. They may be signed out at the South Park on Saturday, October 2nd. See you there.

Great American Cleanup

The Great American Cleanup Main Event Day is scheduled for April 24, 2010. It is not to early to organize your group for a litter cleanup. Call Helen at 248-6617 to register you group. Last year volunteers picked up over 180,000 lbs of litter. It seems to have all returned. Please help build pride in our community. Get involved.
