Chipping the Christmas greenery

Bright n' Beautiful is coordinating the Christmas tree project again for the 2002/2003 season. Trees may be dropped off from Thursday, Dec. 26 through Sunday, Jan. 19, with chipping beginning on Jan. 20.

There are six drop off locations throughout the county:

Billings: ZooMontana, 2100 S Shiloh Rd AND Golden Recycling, N 13th St & 6the Ave. N.

Laurel: Ace Hardware, W Main & Second Ave.

Shepherd: 1/2 mile south of Shepherd on the Shepherd Road

Huntley: Methodist Church parking lot

Lockwood: Lockwood IGA parking lot.

Please remove all plastic, decorations, tinsel and stands from your tree.

The Christmas tree chips will be used at ZooMontana, the Laurel Lions Family Park, the conservation Education Center across from Riverfront Park and the bike trails.

The program is funded by the City of Billings, Yellowstone County, and the City of Laurel.
